In 1997, Mr. Su and his brothers initiated their own lathe and turning workshop in line with China's global opening. D&P Machining commenced operations in June 1998 with limited resources, gradually expanding from 5 manual lathes and 1 turning machine to triple the capacity by 2000, introducing 2 CNC machines while maintaining our commitment to quality and on-time delivery. During the 2000s, D&P Machining took strategic steps to grow. From 2000 to 2008, we concentrated on machining orders, establishing strong customer relationships spanning Japan, USA, Russia, Singapore, Germany, and Chile. Our factory area expanded to 1,500 square meters, achieving over 15% annual growth. Yet, the economic crisis of 2008 led to a slowdown. To diversify, we transitioned 20% of our equipment to small punch machines, venturing into sheet metal fabrication to mitigate the impact. Subsequently, we upgraded machinery, introducing advanced CNC machines, milling units, 45T and 60T sheet metal punch machines, laser cutters, and welding equipment after 2015. Our company restructured into four divisions: CNC machining and milling, sheet metal stamping, laser cutting, and welding.
